Jabed Ahmed is a retired civil servant with 30 years’ experience in civil service. Worked extensively in the field administration and got unique opportunity to know the diverse culture of Bangladesh. Worked in different Ministries and Departments at policy level positions. A nature lover personality, passionate to social work and voluntarism for the well being of the society. Sustainable and responsible tourism is another area of his interest and believes that the Bangladesh is bestowed with full of tourism assets and attractions. This sector along with other sub-sectors can contribute to eliminate poverty by engaging young people in this promising area.

Mr. Ahmed did his Masters in Economics from the Asian University of Bangladesh in 2007and BA (hons) in Economics in1983 from the University of Rajshahi
